K-ON the movie

At the end of K-ON!!‘s final broadcast episode, it was announced that a K-ON! film has been green-lit. Further information has not been disclosed.
I didn’t think this would be happening anytime soon, but it looks like it has. The K-ON! sensation is stronger than ever and with the anime DVD/BD releases, it’s been a huge seller to the Japanese otaku masses. At this junction, they would be stupid not to produce a movie, which I predict will sell like hotcakes. Personally, I’m looking forward to this wholeheartedly as the adventures of HTT can’t go without a bang, so a movie would be really entertaining and awesome. Naturally, KyoAni is doing this, so what does that mean? It means this will be a stunning animated film. I was very impressed with how KyoAni handled The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Everything about it was breathtakingly good. That might have been supported by the fact that it was based on Tanigawa’s novel of the same name, arguably the best Haruhi novel. So what can KyoAni do to make this a hit? Well, I can’t imagine it’ll be nearly three hours long like Disappearance was, but if it’s anything like the epic Hollywood film Sawa-chan perceived in the extra episode, I’m all game for it. Imagine the action and the thrills…

If not the best action flick of the summer, they could always go for Mugi’s horror mystery film:
